April 23, 2018April 22, 2018 LSU Football Report Who will be LSU’s next skill position commitment? Most of the dominoes that have fallen so far in LSU’s 2019 class have been big men. The latest was 3-star IMG Academy (Fla.) center Charles Turner, who made his decision on Easter night. He popped after 3-star Starkville (Miss.) inside linebacker Zach Edwards committed following a junior day event in March. The only skill position prospects to commit to LSU have come in the team’s 2020 recruiting class — receivers Kris Abrams-Draine and Darin Turner.Of LSU’s eight 2019 commitments, three are offensive linemen. There’s also one running back, one linebacker, one defensive lineman, one defensive back and a long snapper.
