April 23, 2018April 23, 2018 LSU Football Report Grant Delpit set for surgery after injury in LSU’s spring game On Sunday, LSU sophomore safety Grant Delpit said he will require surgery after suffering an injury on Saturday. Delpit broke up a deep pass for the defense’s eighth pass breakup of the day, but he laid out on the field clutching his shoulder after coming down hard on the play. Delpit’s injury appears to be one to his left shoulder. “I appreciate all the support and well wishes,” Delpit said in a post on his Twitter account on Sunday. “Surgery tomorrow.
