April 19, 2018April 18, 2018 LSU Football Report LSU’s Greg McMahon excited to be back on field coaching special teams Every year since 1982, Greg McMahon has been coaching football. Needless to say, his season as on off-field analyst for LSU in 2017 was a difficult adjustment. Now, as LSU’s special teams coordinator, McMahon is back on the field and loving it. While McMahon is back in his natural habitat, he has his work cut out for him. LSU saw its special team units suffer across the board a year ago without a special teams coordinator.
