A one-time 4-star guard, Hines had a change of heart last fall when he decided he wanted to play defensive tackle for LSU. He nearly flipped his commitment in the process. However, the LSU coaching staff’s flexibility with the blue-chip lineman led him to sign with the Tigers last December.
