Of course, it’s usually impossible to predict when each specific prospect is going to be ready to finalize his decisions. Four-star cornerback Maurice Hampton, for example, was ready to commit to LSU before his junior year. The same goes for 4-star running back Tyrion Davis, a prospect from Baton Rouge just minutes away from campus. For others, the process is much more convoluted and takes longer.
