April 3, 2018April 3, 2018 LSU Football Report The signing of Jeremy Hill could be the New England Patriots’ best acquisition this off-season Former LSU Tiger Jeremy Hill, who has only been in the league for four years, had an up-and down career with the Cincinnati Bengals. After posting over 1,000 yards rushing during his rookie campaign, Hill has only totaled 1,749 yards rushing over his last three seasons. This hurt his market during free-agency, especially considering his ankle injury last season. All of these factors left Hill unsigned through the first waves of free-agency, before the Patriots invited him for a visit. Shortly after visiting the Patriots, Hill signed a 1 year, $1.5 million contract, signaling a “prove it” deal.
