March 29, 2018March 29, 2018 LSU Football Report Stud 2020 WR Darin Turner Commits to LSU One of the top recruits in the nation from the 2020 class gave his verbal pledge to LSU: The Memphis native has been on the radar since taking an unofficial visit to Baton Rouge last November. The rising sophomore is already listed at 6-3.5 and 205 pounds, which is likely where the “M3gatron” (a la former Georgia Tech and Detroit Lions great Calvin Johnson) allusion comes from.
