LSU O-lineman Donavaughn Campbell pleads guilty to battery, receives year of probation

lsu football report tigersJust as his jury trial was to begin, LSU offensive lineman Donavaughn Campbell instead pleaded guilty to battery, as a first-time offender, for his arrest in 2016, a case manager at the Fulton County State Court in Atlanta told The Advocate on Tuesday. 

Campbell, a junior from Ponchatoula, will serve 12 months of probation, 100 hours of community service, eight hours of anger management and must pen two letters of apology to the victims, said Evelyn Clark, judicial case manager for the presiding judge, Susan Edlein.
