Jarvis Landry, despite your salary-cap fears, might be able to command $60 million in extension

Former LSU Tiger Jarvis Landry has an NFL-record 400 catches in his first four seasons, but has averaged 10.5 yards or fewer per reception in three of the four years.

In 2017, his 112 catches didn’t even produce 1,000 yards. (Yes, Jay Cutler and Matt Moore were Miami’s top QBs, but wideouts Kenny Stills and DeVante Parker still had respective norms of 14.6 and 11.8 yards per catch.)

Since 2015, Landry’s 316 receptions rank third in the league, behind only Antonio Brown and Larry Fitzgerald. In that three-season span, he’s 10th among wideouts in yards, at 3,280, and tied for 17th with 17 TD catches (nine of which were last season).
