March 18, 2018March 18, 2018 LSU Football Report Tyrann Mathieu will try to get back to All-Pro form after signing with the Texans Former LSU Tiger Tyrann Mathieu has a new home for the 2018 NFL season, after signing with the Houston Texans on a one-year deal. The team announced the move on Friday night. Mathieu was released by the Arizona Cardinals on March 14, despite wanting to stay with the Cardinals. The team had given the hard-hitting safety a big five-year extension before the 2016 season, but wanted him to take a pay cut this offseason.
