It’s what’s up front that counts, and LSU may have deep offensive line

lsu football report tigersLSU may be void of an experienced or highly ranked quarterback as well as an experienced or highly ranked tailback, but it may have something as or more important — a talented and deep offensive line.

The Tigers return three starters from last year’s offensive line that improved as the season went on — senior Garrett Brumfield, who started all 13 games at left guard; sophomore Ed Ingram, who started 12 games at right guard; and sophomore Saahdiq Charles, who started the last seven games at left tackle as well as the opener at right guard and once at right tackle.
