Once a question mark, LSU defensive line is now dominating

Even in a losing effort versus Alabama, LSU’s defensive line looked great. The Tigers held Alabama to 116 rushing yards, the Crimson Tide’s fewest in a single game since 2014. LSU also sacked Alabama quarterback Jalen Hurts four times, hurried him three other times and broke up one pass at the line of scrimmage. Thanks in large part to the performance of the defensive front, LSU outgained Alabama in total yardage and held the Tide almost 20 points below their season average.
